DESCRIPTION:RESULTS \n46th Annual Fort Myers XC Invite\nWelcome to the 46th annual running of the Fort Myers Invite! The meet originated in\n1980 by the former XC coach Richard “Hoppy” Hoptar. This year we will be running\nagain at the Kelly Road Soccer Complex. We will run a traditional morning race this year\nand we will reincorporate the bunny trail loop to make the course more challenging!\nMeet Costs & Fees:\n$150 per gender/school. Coaches\, please make checks payable to Fort Myers High\nSchool and send to the address below.\nFort Myers High School\n2635 Cortez Blvd\nFort Myers\, FL 33901\nParking:\n There will also be a parking fee of $5 to help support FMHS athletics. Please\nlet spectators know ahead of time. Gofan.co\nSchedule:\n7:00am Coaches Meeting (main pavilion)\n7:30am Varsity Girls (< 30 min\, 10 per school max)\n8:00am Varsity Boys (< 25 min\, 10 per school max)\n8:30am Combined JV *To be determined\n9:15am Awards Ceremony\nAwards:\nIndividual Awards:\n● Commemorative shirts (top 20 in Varsity & Top 10 in JV races). JV awards will be\ngiven out at the finish line as the finish\, varsity at the awards ceremony and\nsenior celebration.\n● The 46th finisher in both varsity races will also receive a commemorative award.\nTeam Awards:\n● top 2 teams will receive a trophy (varsity)\, and top team in JV\n● Most Improved team (based on the 2024 team averages\, varsity only)\nTent City:\nCoaches\, please set up your teams in the northwest corner of the complex (above field\n2 and to the right of field 5). Teams are not permitted to set up in any other location\,\nespecially the renovated fields. Please make every effort to keep your tents and gear off\nthe actual soccer playing fields.
