At the end of July, check out what your runners have been doing all summer…more than likely building a solid distance base with those seemingly endless miles. And what might break that monotony…?? How about a running pentathlon, under the lights in the “cool” July evening!!! And what distance runner doesn’t want to prove that they really are fast at the shorter distances?

Well, here’s a chance to do just that, join us on July 28^th, 7 pm-9 pm at the Chamberlain High School track for the 2026 Chamberlain Pentathlon Challenge. Test your range over 100m, 300m, 600, 1500m, & 3000m within the 2-hour duration, or see where you’re at in one or two of the events. Just $5 per event or $20 for the complete Pentathlon Challenge!

Three divisions will be competed, Middle School (MS), High School (HS), and Open (post-HS). T-shirts to the first 200 entrants, unique awards to winners in each event, and a VERY unique award to the overall Male/Female Challenge winners.

No spectator or parking fees; concessions will be open, as will a BBQ food truck on site.
