Is is that time already??!! Over hill and dale they go(as long as they don’t step on Dale)! The 2026 Cross Country season is right around the corner and TRC will be there for most of the action. And as we did last year TRC(Tampa Running Central), will be offering up a weekly Top Ten list of the harriers from Hillsborough,Pasco,Pinellas, and Hernando counties. And also as we did last season, we will be picking runners’ of the month(maybe weekly) and TRC Boys/Girls Runners’ of the year, with personalized gear to comemorate our top runners!
NOW,HOLD ON TO YOUR BOOKBAGS … FOR THE 2026-27 SEASON,TRC WILL BE AWARDING A $5000 SCHOLARSHIP TO THE BAY AREA STUDENT/ATHLETE THAT PUTS TOGETHER THE BEST XC AND TRACK RESUME, AS WELL AS GETTING IT DONE IN THE CLASSROOM. MORE DETAILS WILL BE POSTED IN THE NEAR FUTURE,BUT KNOW THAT TAMPA RUNNING CENTRAL IS FULLY COMMITTED TO GIVING HONOR WHERE HONOR IS DUE!

REGIONAL XC COMES BACK TO TAMPA!!!
Thanks to the efforts of Hillsborough Terrier’s XC coach Anthony Triana ,Classes 3A and 4A Region 3 meets will be held at Tampa’s Ed Radice Park on November 11. Anthony, and his band of Merry Men(and women) Coaches Roger Mills of Alonso, Ladd Baldwin of Steinbrenner, Matt McKernan of Wharton,as well as administartors Miranda Martin of Hillsborough and Hills borough County Asst AD Jenna Lamour now begin the work to put together what hopefully will be the first of many regional championships here in Tampa.
And TRC is very excited to be the meet manager for these meets, as well as humbly honored to be on a team that includes some of most respected coaches in the state!
