The Race for Education 5K, a Run/Walk for Hillsborough County Public Schools in partnership with Hillsborough Education Foundation, will proudly take place on April 2, 2022

Let’s pick up the pace for public education as we prepare students for life in Hillsborough County Public Schools. In partnership with Hillsborough Education Foundation, join us for our first annual Race for Education 5K on April 2, 2022, to improve mental and physical wellness while supporting our students, teachers and district initiatives. Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are invited for a fun-filled race down the Boulevard and over the Hillsborough River.

There is also a 1-mile race option available for families, children and walkers.

Registration will include a swag bag with race-day bib, freebies from our partners in education, a t-shirt, and a finisher medal.

Don’t miss the post-race snacks, refreshments, and awards ceremony.

Registration for 5K $40 from February 1st to April 1st
Registration for 5K $45 Race Day
Registration for 1-Mile $20 Thru Race Day

Start Times:   Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration for BOTH 5K and 1 Mile – 6:30 a.m. until 7:45 a.m.

5K – 8:00 a.m.  (chip timed)
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – 8:45 a.m. (running time clock)

Awards (5K only) – approximately 9:00 am
Awesome Custom Finisher Medal for all 5K participants and a special medal for the 1 Mile Mini-Trotters.

Blvd., Tampa, FL 33607                                                                                                            Packets can also be picked up at the race site on the morning of the run, Saturday, April 2, starting at 6:30 a.m.                                                                Registration will be available race morning starting at 6:30 a.m. too.
